This is the view from about 10,000 foot elevation on Lone Mountain. You can see rain in the distance. Because of thunder and my footing, I decided not to go for the peak.

We saw a lot of cow elk. These elk are in the Firehole River area between the upper and midway geyser areas.

These two elk are different than the elk in the previous picture but at the same location.

This is Clepsydra Geyser in the Lower Geyser Basin, which is always going off. The lighting was great for the shot.
